Dating Case Study A one - They look so perfect but he has commitment issues!

Moving in together

They decided it was time to move in with each other after having a relationship for three years. She is really excited and wants to find a house but he decided it's best he has one last trip with his friend before they move in together. So it's the summer of 2010 and they decide to spend the summer apart before the big move. 

After a summer of fun apart they come back together getting ready for the big move. I guess it's a big deal as its the first time they have both lived with a partner. 

2 months later 

He comes back after the summer of camping  and he is a little distant and cold with her and she is cold with him as she feels things are not the same. One evening he sits her down and explains that it sounds odd but wants to warn her that there is a suspicious photos of him just dancing with a girl in US on the net. He gives her his word that he danced and enjoyed the attention that was it. (It did not help that the girl looked amazing; big boobs and figure of a model and she looked smart to put a cherry on the top) ...

She is now unsure where they stand, he wants to move in yet dance with strange girls, are we having problems? 

This is what her friends say when she asks them...

Dump him ..

You can do much better ...

Dancing is as bad as cheating ... kind of words used ( this is normal ) 

4 months later 

OK, so they decide to move in together and try and put the stuff  in the past behind them but as much as they try things are not the same. She feels like he betrayed her and he decides maybe he needs to find himself still. But why are they both confused? Did moving in trigger this doubt in them?

3 months later 

They separate - She decides that she does not want to be second best and he finds a new girl

1 year later 

She is ready to go on dates but still thinks of him 

He contacts her and wants to be friends 

What happened:

I think the move made them consider their commitment for each other it was never addressed before. 

She should have talked and communicated with him around him flirting with other girls and not ignored it!

But what really happened?
