Dating Dilemma - Why do men cheat on woman - "Cheating" Explained

I always say: "Once a cheater, always a cheater."

Cheating men... cheating women; it's not great but it's life what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!  If you are going through something hard be strong as it will all be ok. I am a strong believer in everything happening for a good reason.

So have you ever wondered if he's cheating on you and you have a gut feeling that it's happening but you think you may be imagining it, then you should read on...

My friend invited me over a few years ago and she told me that her boyfriend, Ted was cheating on her but she had no evidence. She invited me over to stalk him out, to find evidence and basically put a case together to see if he is cheating or not. Have you ever walked into something messy? Well this was one of those situations.

She started looking through his bank statements throwing it all around, checking receipts to see if there were any signs of strange spending and then it was the de-brief. She started to treat it like a real criminal case going through all of the evidence bit by bit and plotting the pieces together. I asked her if she was sure or was she being paranoid? How does she know that's what he's doing? But she was sure, she trusted her female intuition.

The evidence
Evidence number one - He has started to go out a lot more without her and he's been getting wasted
Evidence number two - He has been staying out all night and not coming back home
Evidence number three - He has been walking about everywhere with his phone even taking a bath, going to the toilet and the lock has changed
Evidence number four - He has started showing less affection
Last bit of Evidence - Gut feeling

Ok, so women do have a feeling, a sense like a cat or dog if a man is cheating they are able to sense it. Perhaps it's an extra sense they are born with. Was there enough evidence? Perhaps not but no matter what happened they need to work it through, if it's worth it. You can get through anything if you both want it. I think people make mistakes and should be forgiven to a certain extent.

What happened really
So we found out that he was cheating but never did anything more than kiss another girl and consider leaving my friend. She decided to stay with him as they lived together and she was scared she would never meet someone.

What should she have done
I think she should have taken a bit of a break, stood up for herself more. If they know they can get away with something they will do it again and push you harder the next time. Be strong and have respect for yourself in these situations, never be afraid that you will be left on the shelf on your own. There is always someone out there for you.

What would you do?

Ps: More signs of cheating;

Disconnect

Even though relationships ebb and flow naturally, if you're sensing that he's drawing away from you, then there may be someone else. Emotional disconnect should be investigated regardless of whether it's caused by cheating. There's a problem if he's not laughing or seeming as passionate as usual. It's hard to spread love/passion between two people, so the person who used to have it will feel it slipping away if it's being given to someone else.

Friends Acting Strange

His friends will certainly remain loyal to him in most cases. They will not let you know what's going on, but they will definitely be racked with guilt, and their behaviour may change slightly when they are around you while protecting his secret.

Caught in Other Lies About Other Things

If you catch him in a lie, your trust will naturally be damaged. Don't hold a grudge — forgiveness is a good thing. You can forgive, but don't forget. If he consistently breaches your trust, it's establishing a pattern of behaviour that leads to cheating. Do yourself a favour: If he keeps lying, whether these lies are big or small, get out while you can and don't let him talk his way back in.

If he's done it before, he's definitely capable of doing it again.....
