So why is that women think he is your boyfriend after one night of love and cuddles and for men they run a mile?

Firstly why do men have one night stands? 
They need a release of some kind, it's an animal instinct and really some men just need it as a physical need. It really is as simple as that and he does not even need to find the girl attractive it's a need more than anything, the catch and chase too. But in practise, there's no such thing as a smooth one-night stand. Awkwardness is unavoidable. Morning-after mouths taste like crime scenes. Maybe there's a stuffed-animal collection you spotted too late.

What about feelings?

And there are always feelings involved—mainly the ever-present anxiety that one person here is getting used. (It's called a walk of shame for a reason.) Yet there are ways to nobly pull off this ignoble act. And if you ever want this to happen again—and who among us doesn't?—we've got to work together to make sure it's done right.

This is the part that no one likes to talk about. But if you enjoy sex and you want to remain alive to enjoy it, you have to practise it safely.
Most people think that an STD is the last thing that could happen to them. This all depends on the kind of lifestyle one lives. For example, a person that is in a long-term and stable relationship has a lower probability of catching an STD. People (like most Players ) who have multiple partners are at a HIGH risk of contracting various forms of STDs. Think of it for a minute, if a person easily sleeps with a stranger without protection, then how many other strangers did they also sleep with?

The relationship factor
Some men fall into the trap of starting out with a ONS, but ending up hooked by the women they sleep with. Can sex on the first date ruin the chances for a relationship to develop? In general, it is virtually impossible to maintain a serious relationship from a one-night stand. The odds are not very good. This is basically because one-night stands become incredibly intimate at a very early stage, before one really knows the other person very well. These people become too vulnerable to each other before there is any kind of trust built between them.

What are the rules?
DO: Go for it! “Give yourself permission to engage in having a one-night stand,” advises human sexuality expert Catherine Toyooka, the founder of Catherine Coaches sex workshops. “Far too many people are concerned with how they should act, will be perceived, or what is considered moral that they never allow themselves to delve into casual encounter s-x-capades.”
DON’T: Be a dick. Seriously. Even if you never plan on seeing her again, treat the woman with respect. She’s someone’s sister or daughter! One-night stands should be considered a pleasant surprise not your God-given right.
